The question everything turns on

How much is enough for you, and what do you want to do with the time you have?

You do not have to be rich to live freely

About Erika

I worked it out myself, and that is why I know how it works

I am Erika Claver, 44 years old, mother of three grown children. My background is care. I am a qualified carer and worked with older people, in addiction care, in shelters and in mental health. I am also trained as a coach and in herbal medicine.

I know the system from three sides. As a care worker, as a guide, and as someone who was stuck in it herself for years. I know from experience that having little money causes enormous stress. And I have also seen that having plenty of it does not automatically bring calm, good decisions or freedom.

So I look further than the numbers. At patterns, at choices, and at the life someone actually wants to build. I do not promise transformation and I do not sell dependence. My aim is that you will not need me any more.

Who it is for

This programme is not for everyone, and that is deliberate

Conversations are also possible in Dutch, Spanish and Papiamentu. I work with a limited number of people at a time. Read these two columns honestly. If you recognise yourself on the right, you save yourself money and me time.

This is for you if

  • You have reached a point where you say: now I really want to make something of it
  • You have worked hard, been through a lot, or finally have some room to move
  • You have a dream, or you lost it and want to find it again
  • You want to understand how your money, your choices and your life connect
  • You are willing to look at yourself honestly
  • You are ready to do the work, including between our conversations

This is not for you if

  • You want someone else to fix your life
  • You only want to talk and change nothing
  • You are mainly looking for reassurance
  • You expect me to be available day and night
  • Your question needs a therapist, a financial planner or a lawyer
  • You are still unsure whether you really want this

The programme

Six conversations in three months

The route is fixed, the content moves with you. We speak roughly every two weeks, online, 75 to 90 minutes at a time. Every conversation opens or closes with a short grounding moment, so you can land before we begin.

Session 1

Where do you stand?

We look at what is really going on. We go through your intake, name the patterns, and choose one first priority.

Session 2

What is holding you back?

Where does this come from. Which habits, beliefs and outside pressures are steering your choices.

Session 3

What do you really want?

From having to, to wanting to. We look at the life you actually want, and whether it is a choice or an escape.

Session 4

Choosing

From wishes to priorities. What you choose, what you let go of, and which consequence you accept.

Session 5

Doing

Not what you planned to do, but what actually happened. And what that tells us.

Session 6

Making it stick

Looking ahead and putting it down. You leave with a personal document: My life from here.

What it gives you

After three months

  • You see the patterns you have built up over the years more clearly, and you know how to handle them
  • You know what enough means for you
  • You make your choices deliberately instead of automatically
  • You have a plan that fits the life you want, not the life you were used to
  • And you can carry on without me

What a session looks like

What happens when you sit across from me

The rhythm

  1. We land first. A short grounding moment, something warm if you want it.
  2. We look back. What you did since last time, and what you did not.
  3. Then the conversation itself. I ask questions and I reflect back what I see.
  4. At the end we write down together what you discovered, what you choose and what you will do.

The kind of questions I ask

  • What happens if you change nothing here?
  • What does it give you to not do it?
  • If your problem were solved tomorrow, would you still make this choice?
  • You know now what you know. What are you going to do with it?

What I do before we speak

I read your intake from start to finish and take notes. I mark where the tension sits, where you contradict yourself, and where you have already written something important without perhaps realising it. I decide which subjects I want to explore. I do this before each of the six sessions. So you are never sitting across from someone hearing your story for the first time.

The investment

1,500 euro

Paid in full up front. No subscription, no direct debit.

  • An intake beforehand, read and prepared by me
  • Six conversations of 75 to 90 minutes
  • Worksheets made for you
  • Concrete actions between sessions
  • A closing document: My life from here

Why up front

Because deciding is part of it. People who want to pay in instalments are usually still hesitating, and hesitation is a poor start for three months of work. This programme is for people who have made up their mind.

I work with a limited number of people at a time, so that I can really read every intake and really prepare every conversation. That is also why I do not take everyone on.

How I work, and where the limits are

Clear from the start, so you know what you are getting into

Availability

We speak at agreed times. No unlimited messaging or calls, because that works well for no one in the long run.

You stay in charge

I walk beside you, I do not do it for you. What you do between sessions decides the outcome.

What I do not do

I am not a therapist, a financial planner, a debt counsellor or a legal adviser. I do not negotiate with creditors and I never handle clients money.

If something is already running

If you are in a debt programme or under administration, that carries on with the body that handles it. We work on the choices and the life around it.
